Building upon previous studies for Kern COG, Mr. Brown developed bid-rent land use models for all 8 counties in the San Joaquin Valley, using pooled data incorporating parcel-level land use, household interview survey records, commercial real estate data, and accessibility measures derived from travel models as well as detailed GIS networks.
